HBO posts sizzle reel featuring new “Animals” footage
Other than the initial trailer that came out before the Sundance Film Festival, there hasn’t been a whole heck of a lot of footage for Animals viewed for the public. So, when we get ANYTHING featuring the soon-to-be HBO series which got picked up for two seasons set to air in 2016, we’ll take it!
For those that don’t know, Animals follows the under-dwellings of NYC, your rats, your pigeons, you name it and it’s part of the cast. The series was created by Phil Matarese & Mike Luciano whom we interviewed earlier this year, and was executive produced by Jay and Mark Duplass. The series features guest voices from the likes of Katie Aselton, Nick Kroll and Rob Corddry and was produced at Starburns Industries (Rick & Morty).
The series coming from Phil Matarese & Mike Luciano and produced by Duplass Brothers Television will debut Friday, February 5 at 11:30 PM ET, exclusively on HBO with ten episodes with another ten on the way. Watch a sizzle reel below which gives us a quick glimpse of some new Animals footage:
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
