Bubbleblabber vs Carl’s Stone Cold Pick of the NFL Week 14: 49ers Vs. Browns (2015)

I’m actually looking forward to the end of this NFL season. Quite honestly, I’m just a little tired of the scandals, the bad ref calls, the NFC East that doesn’t give a shit, all of the injuries, you name it. I’m just tired of this season. This week, Carl must have wanted to challenge everyone’s attention spans because he picks the least important game of the day:

I will be respectfully disagreeing with Carl’s pick this afternoon, here’s why:

San Francisco 49ers

I am not taking a Blaine Gabbert team…nope. Not happening. I think Carl thinks just because of the better record, the Niners are the clear favorite here and I disagree. Statistically, both teams actually match up rather well due to the fact that both teams suck. The only category in which the Niners win decidedly on is rushing offense. All of the others are rather even with the exception of…

Cleveland Browns

…Pass offense. And this is where I think the Browns win. Johnny Football has a lot to prove this game, and I think he slings the hell out of this ball today against a week defense. I wouldn’t be surprised if this was a high scoring affair, neither, because both teams are awful on defense, but I think the Browns at home take it.
