BUBBLE CAN Review: Night Sweats “More Content Please”
After technical difficulties, Bart and Chris need to fill up time. More episodes of Crack Duck, World Doctors, Executioner & Friend, and Don’t Feed the Humans.
The episode gets rolling with a Art Corner Tutorial. This week we learn how to make our own Pizza Place ad. These tutorials have always been out there, but this week I think they brought us a legitimate tutorial. Who wouldn’t go into a pizza place which advertised by having a slice have sexy legs? It just makes sense.
The first animated segment was Crack Duck. Crack Duck is dealing with some social anxiety, but his landlord needs him to work. Like the last time we saw Crack Duck, they’re dealing with strange concepts. A tenant has an entire sun confined in his apartment, things go down, it’s a weird watch. The relationship between Crack Duck and the landlord develop a bit this episode. Crack Duck is now catching on to how the landlord feels about it. Oddly enough, this episode was a lot more grounded than the last one. A lot of cool visuals.
World Doctors was pretty good this week. It was quick and got to the point. It actually had our doctors being doctors. Of course, they did it in their own twisted way. The best part about World Doctors is the quick paced banter. There was plenty of that.
Executioner & Friend was also pretty decent. Executioner wants to teach Friend how to be tough in the dungeon. He gets him to try and throw insults at others, but his inherent kindness gets in the way. I think Friend has vastly changed since we last saw him. He seems much smarter in this episode than in the last. So the jump in development was kind of strange. Other than that it was a funny short.
In Don’t Feed the Humans, Horf wants to celebrate Jack’s birthday, but misinterprets how humans celebrate birthdays. He twists a lot of the traditions humans do into a sick form of torture. It was pretty funny. There are still a lot of characters to follow. This short would really work well as a full stand alone show. The characters are really interesting and the concept is cool. An alien race keeps humans in a zoo. Great premise. The problem with it being so short is we don’t get to know any of these characters very well. Even Jack, the main dude, still sort of feels like a stranger to me. He isn’t the first character that comes to mind when I think about Don’t Feed the Humans.
Overall, another good episode for the most part. The live action segments resembled stuff we’ve seen in the past, but the cartoons were great as usual. A few minor hiccups, but nothing that truly took away from the quality of the episode.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
