Review: Pig Goat Banana Cricket “Zombie Broheims”

Spoilers Below

Pig fills in for Banana as scoutmaster because Banana wants to watch a zombie marathon and take off for a bit. After asking everyone in the house, Pig volunteers to help out much to Banana’s chagrin. Why? Well, Pig wants to find the Mystery Pit and once he does he takes his scouts down to a chamber of “Weird Pickle Problems”. They pass a test, and next have to do stand up comedy for a “Weird Ceiling Face”. Everyone gets out safely and run into Armpit Willy. The scouts seem to enjoy themselves, but there’s no way to get out of the tomb.

Banana spends time with a group of zombies after getting bit by a skull. Unfortunately, Banana isn’t exactly a welcome guest and is actually a bit of a disaster. Banana agrees to show the zombies where to get the best brains in town in exchange for inclusion in their group.

Goat strives to be a smoothie shop’s best customer because you get a decent celebration if you’re the best including free smoothies. Unfortunately, Thomas Jefferson is the customer service rep at the smoothie shop and he wants nothing to do with Goat. To help her cause, Goat wants to make Jefferson love her more than anything. Eventually Goat goes a bit overboard and is thrown in jail where she wins “Prisoner of the Day”.

Cricket prepares for the formation of the world’s best cookie, but Pig and the scouts show up and start messing shit up. As a result, Cricket makes sure the bird that lays the cookie is safe and sound. Problem is, Cricket makes the cookie so secure that the door won’t let him in. Fortunately, Thomas Jefferson shows up and makes the door the ‘Customer of the Day’, but it doesn’t help Cricket’s cause. Pig somehow got into the vault and lets Cricket in allowing him to disable the security. Goat shows up in time to watch the cookie show up, but jerk Thomas Jefferson eats it and blows up.

Banana shows up with his zombie friends and start eating Cricket’s collection of prize winning brains, but Banana doesn’t really want to eat a brain. As soon as Banana finds out that he’s not a zombie, he quits on the spot, but the zombies bite everyone and now we’ve got a room full of zombies.

Our Take

I don’t know how this didn’t become the Halloween episode, but hey. In any case, this week’s episode of Pig Goat Banana Cricket was pretty forgettable.

Any episodes involving cookies are going to be pretty good and that’s just law. But, I would have liked to have known how Goat and Pig ended up in Cricket’s deal, especially Pig whom we left in that tomb. And where did Armpit Willy go?

Overall, we got a lame episode. I just kind of thought we were going through the paces this week and I don’t remember laughing much.
