“Long Live the Royals” Mini-series gets premiere date/time

Earlier this year Cartoon Network had announced that they were developing a mini-series with Regular Show scribe Sean Szeles known as Long Live the Royals.

Long Lives the Royals follows a fictional British Royal Family —King Rufus and Queen Eleanor and their children Peter, Rosalind, Eddy, and Alex—as they honor the annual Yule Hare Festival. The family must battle having to rule their kingdom while maintaining a normal family at the same time. Meanwhile, the festival continues with the parties and feasts that comprise it.

The mini-series will star Jon Daly, Horatio Sanz, Hugh Laurie, and Gillian Jacobs and we can now confirm that the series will premiere on November 30th @ 7:45 pm ET/PT right after a new Regular Show, and in fact, that’s the schedule for Monday through Thursday 12/3. This is an interesting schedule because just last week we had a week’s worth of Regular Show airing at 8:30 pm ET/PT, so I’m wondering if Cartoon Network’s return to prime-time was short-lived or if the network is airing something else in the 8 pm hour.

In any case, the Kansas City Royals just won the 2015 World Series, so now is a good a time as any to premiere a series with “Royals” in the title. We’ve got more on the way concerning the series so stay tuned.
