Review: Be Cool, Scooby Doo! “Be Quiet Scooby Doo”
Spoilers Below
The Scooby Doo Crew head into a Crystal Canopy to do two things:
- Finish the scientific study of Velma’s professor
- Find out more about this Crystal Crawly
Everyone’s gotta be real quiet so that the crystals don’t shatter, so they decide to talk telepathically instead. Fred eventually figures out who the culprit is, that being the dude in charge of the cave touring company.
Our Take
The recap is quick because, really, there wasn’t a lot of dialogue. Unfortunately, I actually wish there was LESS dialogue, because everyone’s inner monologues were driving me nuts. The culprit wasn’t who I thought it was, but it was either this dude or Dr. Lang, and it ended up not being Dr. Lang. The background designs for the Crystal Canopy were the best representations of how talented this studio really is, but the villain was rather bland-looking. I did enjoy the hell out of the montage, I could use a soundtrack from this show.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
