Petition out to change the same of the Australian Dollar to “Dollarydoo”

There are two petitions you need to know about RIGHT NOW. One is called MetalocalypseNOW, this one wants you to Change the Australian currency name to Dollarydoos.

That’s right, fans of The Simpsons may remember an episode entitled “Bart vs Australia” written by the guys who produced Mission Hill. In the episode, Bart Simpson has to fly to Australia and apologize for committing fraud which comes with a penalty of a swift kick in the ass. Instead, Bart heads to an embassy and pretty much starts a riot by mooning everybody watching.

All of this came about after Bart made a collect call to some kid in Australia, only for his dad to receive a bill for $900 “Dollarydoos”, which would then lead to all of the aforementioned commotion.

Welp, Australian fans want to create a bunch more of commotion with Dollarydoos, this time by launching a petition that would see the Australian currency to Dollarydoos if 75,000 signatures are ascertained. As of this writing, the petitioners are a bit under 51,000 and it looks as though the campaign will meet its goal, but only if you help! Get on over there, and claim your Dollarydoos!
