Review: Pig Goat Banana Cricket “The Most Beautiful Roach in the World”

Pig becomes a cop and has to bust a local mustache thief while at the same time holding back at holding the mother of all pisses. Fortunately, he explodes, and the thief is captured. He then becomes instrumental in Goat’s beauty pageant where she takes her piano-playing cock roach and puts it up against this girl that turns out to be an aquarium robber. Pig makes the arrest, and despite the fact that her roach didn’t perform as expected, Goat/Roach wins the pageant.

Banana is convinced by a Giant Koala to hang out in this Koala-inhabited town only to find out that he’s being setup so that his skin can become underwear. Banana is captured, peeled, and hung upside, but the junior rangers make the save and a chase ensues. The chase lasts all the way back to the house just in time to scare the bejesus out of the recently elementary-school educated Cricket. Just as the chase looks to turn ugly, Pig shows up to make an arrest on the Giant Koala. Goat’s cricket turns out to be a butterfly which doesn’t make any sense, but it’s ok because it didn’t last long.

Our Take

I like PGBC when EVERYONE’s  story really collides at the end, and unfortunately Cricket was more or less the odd-man-out at the end. But, I really can’t complain! Overall, this week’s episode was pretty funny, with maybe the best of the bunch being either Pig or Banana’s in that both had an action-element which helps spice things up a bit in an already spicy series.
