Stephen Colbert to guest star on this Sunday’s ‘Rick and Morty’
I find a lot of things ironic about Entertainment Weekly exclusively revealing Stephen Colbert’s guest appearance (playing as a hyper-intelligent alien) this Sunday Night on Rick and Morty. They all entertain me, let’s see if they do the same for you.
- Where was EW during Rick and Morty season one in announcing all of awesome guest stars that happened then? David Cross, John Oliver, what about Dana Carvey??
- Where was EW when Stephen Colbert used to do voice work all the time to survive? Harvey Birdman? The Venture Bros?? How about Crank Yankers???
So what changed? Oh, right…both of those things became famous. Don’t every mistake Entertainment Weekly for being ones to discover new talent, just take advantage when they get famous enough to make it worth their while.
Tune in two years from now when Entertainment Weekly gets all hot and bothered about Wyatt Cenac showing up in a guest appearance on Adult Swim’s Mr. Pickles.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
