CW Seed’s ‘Vixen’ gets a voice
Looks like you won’t have to wait until San Diego Comic Con to figure out who will be filling the title role of DC Comics/CW Seed’s Vixen animated series set to premier this Fall.
According to VixenVarsity.com, whom very well could be trolling us all, Megalyn Echikunwoke (Damien) takes her long last name behind the voice booth to play the role of ‘Mari McCabe’. Not only that, but the leaked TV Guide article that is now on the site has noted that Vixen will be a six-part shorts series that will complete one 30-minute origin story that will feature a SLEW and I mean a SLEW of already announced guest stars:
Originally from Africa, Mari McCabe’s parents were killed by local greed, corruption, and wanton violence. But the orphaned Mari refuses to succumb to the terrors surrounding her. Inheriting her family’s Tantu Totem, Mari can access the powers of animals-anything from the super-strength of a gorilla to the speed of a cheetah. As Vixen, she fights valiantly to protect the world from threats like those that claimed her family.
More info will come at the reveal of Vixen at San Diego Comic Con, but now you can go prepared.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
