Comic Con staying in San Diego until 2018

There were talks late last year into this year that Comic Con may move from San Diego, but according to Deadline.com that doesn’t appear to be the case anymore.

According to the article, Comic Con brings around $135 million in revenue to the city of San Diego which helps in the building of streets, libraries, and neighborhood services. Moreover, the city is looking to convince hotels not to increase the already ridiculous rates at San Diego hotels just because Comic Con is in town. Personally, I hope that last part extends to AirBnB people because those guys get REAL pricey as well.

San Diego Comic Con kicks off next Thursday from July 9th through July 12th.
