Style.com Posts a Fashionable ‘Simpsons’ Outfit That You Can Own… for Just $1,464!

Here at BubbleBlabber, we enjoy posting bits about celebrities wearing clothes that showcase their love for cartoons, and will usually direct you to a site where you can purchase some duds of your own.

Style.com did something similar the other day when model Antonina Petkovic was spotted wearing a Simpsons tee, and they broke down her “easy, comfortable Sunday outfit” for us all.

First, take a “bargain graphic tee” from Sears for $20 (okay, we’re with you so far), add a pair of Pierre Balmain “army-green skinnies” for $246 (wait, just for pants?) and top it off with a “staple leather jacket” from Marc Jacobs for $1,198 ($1,198!)

You have got to be finger-fucking me.

I wouldn’t buy a television that costs $1200, and Marc Jacobs asks the same price for a damn jacket? Yikes. I’m pretty sure I’ve never even spent the pant price ($246) on a single item of clothing, and that’s even if you count a suit-jacket/pants combo as one item.

I also wouldn’t call a $20 t-shirt a “bargain” either, but I suppose I’d shell out that amount for one I liked.

Maybe it’s just me, but my “laid-back” weekend look for a Sunday afternoon is usually comprised of a pair of boxers and maybe gym shorts if I’m having guests over (even then, it’s my damn house), and you can have that whole look for less than the price of the tee.

Then again, what do I know? We’re talking about women’s clothing here; something I only wear on Saturdays.
