OH YEAH! Duff Beer Set for International Release

Fans of The Simpsons and fans of beer unite! (And fans of both: try to hide your excitement boners.) Duff Beer will soon be released worldwide.

That’s right, the go-to beverage of Mr. Homer Simpson will now be available to Joe Six-Packs (or Jane Six-Packs) around the globe, and it’s apparently not just a novelty item. According to 20th Century Fox’s Consumer Products President Jeffrey Godsick, “You will enjoy it at home and eventually in bars. We are treating this as real beer, not a novelty.”

Of course the novelty is half the fun (the other half is getting drunk), as Duff Beer first debuted at the Universal Studios theme parks in Orlando and Hollywood.

It will initially be released across the U.S. and Europe, before eventually – like the show itself – reaching the rest of the world.
