Norah Jones re-teams with ‘Ted’

I’m not sure if this means another cameo like the first time around, but Seth MacFarlane has noted that Grammy Award winning artist Norah Jones has recorded a new song for Ted 2. Ted 2 is the follow up to the smash-hit film Ted, and it opens in theaters on June 26th, 2015.

In the first Ted film, Norah Jones had a full on cameo which saw her not only perform a song, but become an integral part of the plot in helping John (played by Mark Wahlberg) get back with Lori (played by Mila Kunis).

The last time Norah Jones recorded a song for Ted, it was ‘Everybody Needs a Best Friend’ and that song would go on to be nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Song. Can lightning strike twice for Norah and Ted?
