Admittedly, Korn was my earliest gateway drug in my eventual love of heavy music though I largely have grown out of them. That said, when parodies like this are uploaded, I can’t help but be punched in the gut.

From the producers Cooking Hostile comes this new animated short which showcases just how some of nu-metal’s earliest pioneers like Korn and the Deftones came to be and you can watch it below. If you were a 90s fan of heavy music, this one might sting a bit.
