If You Put Adventure Time on the Big Screen, Does that Mean it’s “Big Adventure Time?”
We here at Bubbleblabber had a lot of scorn thrown at Cartoon Network last week. After they changed back their time slots to the normal 7:30 and 7:45 for Adventure Time and Regular Show, they also gave us another tasty little tidbit as a sort of apology for their unadvertised blunder.
According to Deadline, Warner Bros. is developing the wildly popular Adventure Time for the big screen. On top of that, Deadline is also reporting that Warner Bros. will also be bringing back Pendleton Ward, who left the day to day operations of the show, to help write and produce the show. However, that isn’t all. Chris McKay and Roy Lee, also known as the geniuses behind The Lego Movie and the upcoming The Lego Batman Movie, are coming on to produce the movie as well. Seeing as though the duo is also behind Ninjago, there is a winning pedigree behind the movie.
When more news comes down the line on the movie, you will catch everything you need to know right here. Well, as long as Cartoon Network doesn’t move Adventure Time to 3:00 pm.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
