Boston-based Animation Studio responsible for ”Home Movies” and ”Dr. Katz” is going down
Running an animation studio is really hard work, and even more so when outside of Los Angeles. Good efforts have come the last several years with Vancouver, Connecticut, and Georgia all showcasing that it CAN be done, but New York and Los Angeles are still the figure heads here in America.
Boston-based animation studios, Soup2Nuts, is officially going under as its parent company Scholastic has announced that it will be shutting the studios known for such animated classics as Home Movies and Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist. The studio brought to fruition the world renowned ”Squigglevision” style of animation and helped launch the careers of H. Jon Benjamin (Archer), Loren Bouchard (Bob’s Burgers) and countless others.
I personally love Boston, and I can totally understand someone not wanting to leave in favor of LA, especially if you are a die-hard Boston sports fan like I am. In any case, it’s really a sign of the times with Soup2Nuts closing because it is VERY expensive to live and run a business downtown, but I hope that everyone is able to find jobs quickly.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
