Watch This Metallica ‘Master of Sock Puppets’ Parody
The folks at Sock Puppet Parody are at it again, this time with the most obvious song that’s ripe for spoofing: Metallica’s “Master of Puppets.”
“Lintallica” performs their own humorous version of the title track from the metal messiahs’ 1986 album, which features the story of “a lost sock that gets a shot at redemption when the master of puppets brings him to life,” according to SPP.
The video was shot at Gas Monkey Live in Dallas – a real rock venue – and contains a tribute to Metallica’s late bass player, Cliff Burton.
It’s definitely worthy of a watch if you’re a fan of comedy, parodies, metal music, or socks.
