DBZ Kai goes prime-time on Adult Swim
Adult Swim has been certainly sending mixed messages on its support of Toonami and anime in general. On one hand, the network has recently shortened the block and there have been no signs of the only true original series Space Dandy getting a third season order. On the other, Jason DeMarco recently made mention that starting last Saturday Night @ 8 pm ET/PT, Adult Swim proper has begun airing re-runs of Dragon Ball Z: Kai.
Jason DeMarco recently Tweeted that re-runs of Dragon Ball Z: Kai will happen on Saturday Nights @ 8pm ET/PT moving forward with ‘new’ episodes still airing @ Midnight ET/PT only on Toonami.
This time slot change could be a great way to bring more viewership to the clearly struggling anime block. Doing so could open the doors to more original content and fewer reruns.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
