Comics Review: Simpsons Illustrated #15
We’ve got another issue of Illustrated over here, but we’ve got a mixed bag at best. For starters, the ‘Sandwiches Are Forever’ story took the lion’s share of the pages, and that’s a bad thing. Reason being, is because the premise was just so God Damned boring and I just couldn’t stand it. You would think a Simpsons tale that ends up in space would be a lot of fun, but I could honestly care-less about Hank Scorpio. At the end, he becomes the President of France, and it was a marathon getting there.
Fortunately, #15 wasn’t all bad. ”Easy Writer” was a pretty funny bit, and ‘VSI’ was aptly included JUST in time for Valentine’s Day. But, the first story just took a lot out of me, and I don’t quite think the last two strips are worth the $4 for this one.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
