Comics Review: Regular Show #20
This month’s issue of Regular Show offers up a rather well-done sendoff of the Genie saga. In it, the guys rush to put the genie’s lamp back together so that they can undo all of Rigby’s wishes. And while the plot is a lot of fun and the dialogue had me laughing out loud quite a bit, the best part was probably the breath-taking background designs. You would think a whole story revolving around genies you would get some sort of cliched Arabian back drop. Instead, we get a rather well done back drop that’s both original and vibrant.
The second story entitled ”Tech Giant” was equally as awe-inspiring in terms of presentation, but not nearly as intuitive with the dialogue or premise. The plot was sort of all over the place and not really captivating, but the aesthetic was so good it might be worth the buy just to oogle.
