Comics Review: Futurama #74

Just like this month’s Simpsons Comics, we see our favorite Futurama characters cross with a number of different popular franchises. Unfortunately, unlike the Simpsons effort, the cover offers no real substance for what’s on the inside.

Instead of The Simpsons, Toy Story, Fantastic Four, etc, we get crossed with Winnie the Pooh, Charlie Brown, and other really quite forgettable ideas. The issue doesn’t come off as all that funny and really we end up at a game show which is a trope that we’ve seen countless times in both cartoon TV and print.

If you are looking for a Futurama fix, this could do good as it’s the first one of 2015. Unfortunately, there was a whole bunch of promise that was never delivered.
