DVD Review: How Murray Saved Christmas
You can read our review of what we thought of How Murray Saved Christmas, however this is a case on whether or not to purchase the DVD which is in stores now. In a word…’yes’. The DVD comes which the full animated special WITH feature commentary and a few deleted scenes. Ordinarily, the special would run you about $5 on Amazon.com for a direct download, so whether or not you want to actually purchase the DVD is dependent on how much you love commentaries, because this one has Billy West and Mo LaMarche from Futurama and it’s always great hearing these guys shoot the shit. For anyone else, the direct download will suffice.
There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
