Spoilers Below

Kirby makes enemies with Pearly Todd who is the biggest kid ever in the history of kids. For some reason this gets Kirby drawing like mad after coming in contact with the greatest pen ever. Dawn isn’t a fan, but she has a photo shoot to get ready for so her mind is elsewhere. That’s because whenever she does a shoot, something nuts happens and today was no exception as she gets sneezed on. We come to learn that when Kirby draws pictures with his new pen, he can change the future, hence the reason why Dawn became a Kleenex.

Before you know it, Kirby is controlling everything, snacks, girls, you name it, Kirby is Jesus while Dawn is clearly a target for gross shit. But, Dawn finds out about the pen and she ends up stealing it from Kirby RIGHT before he needs it. Yep…Dawn is just plain awful.

Dawn tries her best in drawing, but she’s dumb so she snaps the writing utensil in half and throwing it on the ground. Kirby tasks Fish and Eli to go find the pen and bring it back before Todd destroys him in a wrestling match at gym class. Eli uses his powers of janitorial skills and locates the pen in pieces. The guys head back to the match and get the pen working again, but we come to find out that Todd is an OK dude that is largely misunderstood. The trend continues in terms of the number of cartoons we get per Kirby Buckets and that trend is upward. This week, not only did we get MORE cartoons, but we got a better variety as well. And quite simply, Dawn may be the most evil person. I seriously can’t imagine how she hadn’t been caught in trying to smother her little brother with a pillow when he was a baby, but you definitely get the sense that she wishes she had. Dawn (played by Olivia Stuck) is just at good at dishing out jokes as Kirby, but there’s just something about Jacob Bertrand that I just can’t put my finger on, but he really is going to be someone we talk about 10 years from now and with good reason. Some of the ancillary characters like Fish seemed lost this week, but new characters like Pearly had be entertained long enough not to care.
