Dish Network subs may be losing ‘American Dad!’ after all

Remember a few weeks ago that we told you about Dish Network dropping of Adult Swim and other Turner Networks? At the time, TBS and TNT looked to be safe, however Deadline is reporting that on the most recent conference call, Dish Networks Chairman Charlie Ergen had noted that TNT and TBS could actually go dark if a deal between his company and Turner Broadcasting isn’t finalized, those networks could go dark as well.

The cut-off date is December 5th, if nothing is done there, it looks as though TBS and TNT could be removed from Dish programming. My question is, if the satellite dish company were to drop TV networks, do subscribers still pay for those channels? It’s things like this that make me wonder.
