Date of ‘Robot Chicken’ Holiday Special Announced

Tis the season for holiday specials (yes, I know, it isn’t even Thanksgiving yet, but hear us out) and Robot Chicken is prepping a doozy, entitled: “The Robot Chicken Lots of Holidays but Don’t Worry Christmas is Still in There Too so Pull the Stick Out of Your Ass Fox News Special.” Quite the title for a show that strictly features 11-minute episodes.

Mark your calendars, because it’s set to air on Adult Swim Sunday, December 7th at 11:30pm ET/PT, and from what I have heard, it’s not to be missed.

Here are the details straight out of their press release:

This year the Robot Chicken writers take on every holiday that ever existed in this new special! We see what Mother’s Day is like for the Disney characters, a talented Jewish boy raps about gelt, a Pilgrim has a special surprise for his family on the first Thanksgiving and Santa has a little trouble with his neighbor up at the North Pole.

See? All the holiday bases are covered. That being said, I suppose this episode doesn’t really need to air in December – but hey, what else are you going to do when the weather outside is frightful and you’re hiding out due to an arson event you described as “so delightful”?
