Bubbleblabber vs Carl’s Stone Cold Pick of the NFL Week 12: Redskins vs 49ers

Last week was one of those picks where as I got closer and closer to game time I wanted to change my pick, but I stuck with it and both Carl and I paid for it as the Bears beat the Vikings in convincing fashion. I noted last week that Alshon Jeffrey and Matt Forte would have big games, and big games they did. This week, Carl picks the Niners to beat the Skins and I’m with him on this one.

RG3 is still the most overrated QB in football right now, and I think fans, coaches, and other players are starting to see that. He’s a shade of his former self and Alfred Morris provides the only bright spot for this team. People are still complaining about the name of the team, and Jim Haslett is probably gone after this season, but at least the Skins will have an early pick in the draft that they can use on another seven QBs that will surely do nothing.

As the season pushes on, the Niners are getting strong. Slowly but surely players are starting to come back, and Chris Borland has been a suitable replacement for Patrick Willis. Glen Dorsey probably sits this week, but it won’d matter because 10 other guys are going to harass RG3 all afternoon.
