Ratings Are In 10/9/14: Family Guy rerun is better than an overhyped reality series
HAHAHHAHAHA…fuck YOU, Utopia. FOX’s newest reality series that no one cared about was moved to Friday Nights and in its place, this past Tuesday saw a rerun of ‘The Simpsons Guy’ episode of Family Guy. And despite the fact that THAT episode has aired three times so far (original, Adult Swim, and now a second time on FOX), and STILL beat original Utopia showings in the ratings is pretty hysterical. Here’s what Deadline.com had to say:
Fox improved slightly the 8 PM hour by subbing Utopia (0.8 last week) with a repeat of the Family Guy season premiere (0.9).
I said it before and I’ll say it again, I really think FOX should look into bringing in some original animated comedies for Tuesday Nights. This summer saw a bunch of Family Guy reruns do pretty well in the ratings on Tuesday Nights for FOX, so with ‘The Simpson Guy’ being an hour long, I think FOX should the very least greenlight TWO animated comedies right this second and get that shit on there by next fall.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
