First Look Reax: Star Wars Rebels “Entanglement”

I think we have a weekly series just in shorts. I’m okay with this.

In what is turning into a weekly meet and greet of the Rebels cast, “Entanglement brings us some face time with Zeb. This guy has a penchant for fighting when he probably shouldn’t be fighting. Zeb gets lost on his way to meet Kanan, and things just start snowballing out of control. Zeb helps a little guy with his R2 unit, who were getting bullied by two Stormtroopers, which then leads to him fleeing right to where a TIE Fighter and pilot are. After Zeb knocks out the TIE Fighter pilot, more Stormtroopers arrive, just in time for the TIE Fighter pilot to wake up and call in for reinforcements. These reinforcements cause the TIE Fighter to leak fuel, and subsequently blow up. Zeb Survives, just to get blocked by more stormtroopers.

These looks into the cast of characters of Rebels is still begging one really huge question: When do we get to meet the Inquisitor? There is so much lore (well, there was until Disney retconned everything out except for the movies) that could be intertwined into this character. That is who I can’t wait to see, because while I am Optimus Prime fanboy, I am also a huge fan of the Sith. So, characters like The Inquisitor and Agent Kallus are two that I cannot wait for. Yes, I am fanboying.

Back to the short, I like how this series of shorts are going away from the rather serious tones of the movies (Return of the Jedi not withstanding). The sarcastic banter between each of the characters is great to see, and nothing is too serious so far. I know that any of this can change at any given moment, but for now, this rather sarcastic tone is a breath of fresh air that Star Wars needs since we aren’t getting anymore Robot Chicken specials.
