Shorts Review: Gentleman Lobster Episode One

GQ has a new animated series, so naturally the first episode is all about two guys arguing over what to wear to a party. An argument ensues but really it’s just a fashion argument being spun over and over. There are some funny lines between the two, but for the most part you can tell it’s a lame attempt at trying to be trendy in the internet world. The look of the series is rather basic, and looks like it was someone’s first-time ever creating a series. Voice-over was kind of funny, but I saw a comment that said the series was like Archer meets Aqua Teen and I think that description is really far off. Really, the series looks like the crab people from South Park, but with not as funny dialogue.
