Shorts Review: Oishi High School Battle “Welcome Back”

Oishi’s back, but can she become the most popular girl in school?

Well, it’s that time of the year again, when kids go back to school. Except, this isn’t your normal school. And your school doesn’t have Oishi, or the giant monster she destroyed with a panty dagger. The other students got a nice blood bath from that. Meanwhile, Ryuzu now has job as a school rent-a-cop. Meanwhile, Oishi is walking with Raif, and asks if she is the most popular girl in school. Raif tells her no, because it’s hard for a foreign chick to be the most popular. Not to mention that Ryuzu is pissing all over the school. Oishi then vows to be the most popular girl. Ryuzu  is in the library, without pants, and a foot in a tissue box. He calls Lee, to instigate a fight, and it works really well. Oishi then ventures to the cheer-leading practice, and she begins battle with them. That is, until Lee shows up, and bits the school out of the Earth, and spits it into space.

It’s been a while since I’ve watched Oishi, and this show is just as fucked up as ever. I would probably say even more so, because the school is now floating in space, with a bubble around it. Maybe it’s because I was just getting into anime when it started to invade, but Oishi is the stereotypical 90’s anime girl, complete with the big tits. What the show does well is capture the stereotypes, and play hard into them. Tit lasers, panty knives, the silly little furball named Noodles, they play into it all. That’s what makes the show fun to watch, especially for someone like me.
