Estate Sale for Dan Castellaneta’s Father Includes Voice Actor’s Artwork, Simpsons Merch
An estate sale is being held near Chicago, Illinois on behalf of Lou Castellaneta, father of Dan Castellaneta, who is the voice of TV’s favorite father, Homer Simpson. Got all that?
Some of the 99-year-old’s personal items are being auctioned off, including household items, antique furniture, war memorabilia, and a large collection of artwork. Some of the paintings were actually completed by Dan himself! Lou, also a talented artist, has a few of his own paintings (and a couple sculptures) up for bidding as well.
In addition, there is apparently a large lot of Simpsons collectibles up for grabs, including scripts, old newspaper clippings, vintage recordings, and cast jackets personalized to Lou and his wife, Elsie.
Although this sale may seem a bit obscure, die-hard collectors could find some worthwhile gems among the items & there could be more on the way if it’s successful.
EstateSales.Net is handling the auction, which will take place today and tomorrow from 9:30am to 3pm in Westchester, Illinois. A few items will also be sold online.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
