Shorts Review: ICEMAN (Alfred and Poe #3)

What I hate most about this series is that there is SO MUCH promise here, but it’s just NOT QUITE hitting yet. Alfred and Poe features a toucan and a turtle whom really just argue and do stupid shit all day. It’s not an entirely bad premise, nor do I hate the show, but I feel like a lot of the jokes and banter is rehashed from just about any where else that has done animated comedy. Granted, animated comedy isn’t the first stop I’d make on my bus route to originality, but this is the internet. Ingenuity and resources will be the deciding factors of what stays and what goes.
