Spoilers Below

The first big story, “Poolin’ Around,” is Homer causing the town pool club to lose it’s funding. This is due to him causing Quimby to get washed away by his cannonball wave. Lisa gives Homer the idea that the family should run the pool, and he runs with it. The next day, Barney comes with a truck full of sand, which attracts Crazy Cat Lady and her cats. Homer finds an amphibious scooter for the handicapped, while Jimbo steals Martin’s lunch. Jimbo eats the lunch and goes swimming, which immediately causes him to cramp up. This draws Marge away from her sand castle building. Later on, a bunch of kids are on a raft, which gets bombed by the Crazy Cat Lady. Homer saves them by driving the scooter into the pool, and the kids hang on to his belly.

In “Bartman Unmasked,” Bart gets unmasked (Shocking, right?) by a hypnotist. The hypnotist gets close to the roof, and knocks off a bird’s eggs, so he attacks. He gets outed by the news crew and Jimbo. Going forward, everyone was asking him for favors, like using his rope, and getting the balls off the school’s roof. Just as he gets to his bed, Police Chief Wiggum comes to the Simpsons’s door and arrests Bart for vigilantism. Bart doesn’t get tv, but he gets high speed internet. That enables him to get a hold of Lisa, who enacts a plan to free Bart. Bart uses his freedom to ask the hypnotist to make everyone forget that he’s Bartman.

“What the Hole” is a rather quick read, It’s mostly an action sequence of Homer trying to fix the hole in the roof. Of course, it turns out that Homer just destroys the roof.

All of the shorts are starring McBain, but they don’t really amount to much. It’s mostly because they’re two pages long.

This book was alright. Unfortunately, it was no where near as good as last year’s. None of the stories are as memorable as Judge Dredneck. Actually, most of these are rather forgettable. There is nothing here to make you buy the book, so if you have that five dollar credit from Comixology, download it in a month. Otherwise, it’s a waste of five dollars.
