Review: Teen Titans Go! ”Brain Food”

An asteroid is heading to Earth and its up to the Titans to stop it. Unfortunately, Beast Boy is pretty much useless this time around but his team members are supportive. Turns out the team thinks that Beast Boy isn’t all that smart so they don’t really give him important shit to do. Beast Boy decides to try a number of different measures in making himself smarter which also includes shoving fish in his ears. Eventually, Beast Boy figures he should try magic, so he turns to Raven’s spell book to cast a spell on himself that should make him smarter, but that doesn’t work either so he decides to make the rest of the team a lot dumber. Unfortunately, these guys are REALLY stupid and that asteroid is still on its way, but when Beast Boy is tasked with stopping the interstellar rock. His idea? Let’s kill the ocean…where’s Aquaman when you need him? Thankfully, Silkie is now smart so he builds a robot and he uses it to beat the shit out of the asteroid.

My idea of brain food is making food out of brains, but that’s just me. That said, this episode had absolutely nothing to do with the title so it’s cool either way. I fucking love Silkie, but everyone being dumb was just a silly joke that played itself out in like the first four minutes.
