New Disney Movies App doesn’t seem to include Phineas and Ferb…yet
Just the other day, Disney released a new Movies App that lets you watch Ultraviolet-esque movies on the go. So, let’s say you go to the store and purchase Frozen on Blu-Ray/DVD on March 18th, those copies usually come with a digital download that you can watch on your favorite mobile device. What this App does is it pretty much eliminates the need to have to go through all of that trouble in getting the digital copy, you can just get it right on your phone via the App’s iTunes interface. At the end of the day, it’s another portal to keep track of upcoming Disney home releases, showing off your previous collection, and being able to make purchases of new movies right in your fingertips.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t appear this same methodology works for Disney Channel Original Movies like Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension. However, this could change in the future, because according to an article on TechCrunch the App will soon interface with other digital stores. This is good because right now Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension doesn’t appear to be available on iTunes, but it IS available on Amazon Instant.
When the app is available for other digital retailers, we will let you guys know so you can download a bunch of your favorite Disney movies at your heart’s desire.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
