Have the Simpsons decided the Super Bowl?

So far, the Madden game franchise, Tecmo Bowl, and pretty much all of Las Vegas have pegged the Denver Broncos to beat the bejesus out of the Seahawks this Sunday Night at the Super Bowl. But, did The Simpsons have a winner in mind YEARS ago?

The Simpsons Facebook  page posted this along with the caption : ” SUPER BOWL forecast in the “Bonfire of the Manatees” (Season 17) episode from 2005.”

Our chief Simpsons correspondent/expert on drugs, Gonzo Green,  had this to say about the situation when asked if this is a legit claim:

yeah, but I don’t think it was the Super Bowl.

So there you have it folks! Who do YOU have winning this Sunday? My pick vs Carl will be up Sunday Morning before the big game, so hold off on your bets til I say so.
