Review: Phineas and Ferb ‘Just Our Luck’

Perry is called in for an early morning mission due to the fact that he’s the only one not at Agent Con, so he’s feeling a bit tired. He literally shows up to Doof Inc sound asleep, but that doesn’t stop Doof from explaining his latest scheme which involves a gun that zaps bad luck. So far, Phineas and Ferb get hit with the bad luck rays whereas Candace gets shot with a good luck ray.  Doof gets on with a good amount of good luck and decides to drive around with a still-sleeping Perry on his way to City Hall.  Perry wakes up and beats the shit out of Doof and it reverses all of the luck rays.

Meanwhile, Candace is spying on Phineas, Ferb and the gang but after everyone gets zapped, the brothers meet a string of bad luck whilst Candace gets on a great run of good luck. Phineas and Ferb go up against Isabella and Baljeet in a racquetball match that turns into a pretty big deal.  Unfortunately, before Candace can bust them, the ground opens up and sucks down whatever contraption they were using to play on.

I actually quite enjoyed the fact that Perry was sleeping through everything, but really this week’s Phineas and Ferb was standard-fare. Worse yet, the Phineas and Ferb portion of the episode wasn’t all that great.
