Hank Azaria hints at who is not dying on ‘The Simpsons’

You guys wanna hear something weird? When this story was still fresh (and I’m just looking at the article now) that when it was first announced that someone on The Simpsons was going to die, I legit thought it was going to be ‘Edna’ and then of course the lovely Marcia Wallace whom played ‘Edna’ DID pass away, so I thought that was kind of a weird occurrence on my part that of which I didn’t even realize until right now.

That said, it has already been confirmed that Edna was never the character that was going to die on the season 26 premier of The Simpsons and now Hank Azaria has confirmed that NONE of his characters are set to die this Fall on FOX, which now leads the following candidates left. Note it was said that the character getting an axe, won an Emmy for the voice actor which leaves us with:

• Anne Hathaway as Penelope (2010)
• Dan Castellaneta as Homer Simpson (2009, 1993)
• Kelsey Grammer as Sideshow Bob (2006)
• Castellaneta as various characters including Grampa Simpson, Barney, Krusty, Groundskeeper Willie, Mayor Quimby, Sideshow Mel (2004)
• Hank Azaria as various characters including Chief Wiggum, Moe, Cletus, Apu (2003)
• Azaria as various characters including Comic Book Guy, Moe, Wiggum (2001)
• Azaria as Apu (1998)

An interesting list if I do say so myself. Who do YOU think is going to die in the Simpsons 26th Season Premier? That said, we still have plenty of Season 25 to get through, and that continues this Sunday Night on FOX @ 8pm EST with an all-new episode of The Simpsons!
