Comics Review: Bravest Warriors #16
Can someone tell me where I’ve seen the story of brain eating parasites, before?
Spoilers!
Wallow is walking around the ship when everyone is asleep causing him to feel alone. He walks into Chris’s room, and he sees a Dreamadon. He goes into Chris’s dream to reason with it, and to get off of Chris’s brain. It works, and he repeats it for Beth and Danny. They are returned to their planet, and everyone rejoices, except for Danny.
“Yay! Camping!”
Wallow and Catbug are going camping, and it’s a disaster from turn one. Catbug lights Wallow on fire, destroys the axe, a bird takes the tent and the poop hole, and they have no food. Fortunately, while Wallow had little luck getting food, Catbug killed a moose, and has a fire started.
Where do I go with this? This issue was well written, even though the brain eating parasites have been used a lot. It was a fresh take that had Wallow go into the dreams to get the Dreamadons willingly stop eating the brains. The funny part of this book, however, is the short. Catbug seems like the most inept person for camping, but proves himself able to actually do things. This stuff was gold. The only thing I can say was that I was left wanting more. Hopefully, next issue will bring more.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
