Review: Regular Show “The Heart of a Stuntman”
Spoilers Below
You know how Mordecai and Rigby love stuff like action flicks, karate, video games, and monster trucks? What’s that you say? You didn’t know that? Well, they do, and you need to watch more Regular Show, friend. With interests like those, it stands to reason that they would have a respect and admiration for stuntmen. In this episode, not only do they meet a legendary stuntman, but they get to train to become stuntmen themselves! Aw yea-yah!
The episode opens up with the park crew preparing for Benson’s nephew Timmy’s birthday party, which he has at the park every year. As he got older, the themes got more intense. This year, the theme was a stuntman party, but the professional stuntman that Benson had hired pulled out of the gig at the last minute. You can’t watch Disney’s Hercules as many times as I have and not recognize Pain’s voice. I wrote that last sentence with zero shame, if you were wondering. It was a decent episode, but I feel like they could’ve kicked it up a few notches and created a dastardly villain. It was all pretty cut and dry, which is unlike Regular Show. It wasn’t bad, but not very memorable either. With .5 points awarded for the guest spot, this episode comes up short of the ramp and lands on a
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
