Both myself and Carl picked the Pats to beat the Browns last week in what turned out to be a closer game than initially thought. This week Carl is taking the Packers to beat the Cowboys, but only if Aaron Rodgers is playing (he was ruled out Friday). That means Carl and I are picking the Cowboys to win today and that’s because I’m taking Tony Romo at home no matter WHO is playing under center for the Pack. Check out Carl’s pick:

Dallas Cowboys

I’m actually rather hesitant to pick the Boys just because we are ranked 32nd on a defense that is just decimated with injuries, however we were 32nd ranked even WITH Sean Lee, Bruce Carter, and Mo Claiborne so we can’t possibly get any worse. That said, our running game (although still low) has improved the last few weeks with DeMarco Murray getting more and more touches each week behind a rather impressive Offensive Line. Tony Romo has so many weapons and this time he’s playing at home not in 8 degree weather, so I think the boys take this one.

If Aaron Rodgers were playing I’d say the Pack would have a good chance at winning, but since Matt Flynn has taken over the Pack have ranked last in every offensive category. Their defense is usually stellar, but have given up 28 points a game in the past seven games with the Cowboys averaging 34 points a game at the Big T.
