Review: Axe Cop ‘No More Bad Guys’

Axe Cop ends up killing the last bad guy on his list, but Flute Cop absorbs some sort of power that makes him randomly transform from a human to a dinosaur then finally an avocado. Problem is when Axe kills the last bad guy he does so with Baby Unicorn whose horn falls of leading Flute to have to explain what happened to his wife and yea she’s pissed.Turns out Baby-Man has the horn and he uses it to be the last last guy on the bad guy list causing Axe Cop to go after him. We learn that Baby is annoyed at the fact that he wanted to try out as Axe’s sidekick, but typical Axe didn’t bother paying any attention. As a result, Baby-Man kills Axe Cop, but Flute Cop shows up to help save the day. And by help I mean stand there and watch Axe come back to life and turn Baby-Man back into a good guy. However, we still have plenty of bad guy aliens to get through and this time we are going to do so with Flute as a Gorilla.

If Junior Cobb becomes a regular character for Axe Cop, it’s all over for other animated shows because that would be the sickest thing ever. But, seeing Flute Cop as Dinosaur Soldier now makes me wish we had more Dinosaur Soldier, so hopefully with the influx of changing characters for Flute we can see longer appearances by the litany of characters we’ve known him for. Michael Madsen CRUSHES as Baby-Man and I certainly want to see some more of him and although he had a brief appearance Grey Diamond was rather hysterical. The opening scene for this week’s episode is what I’d like to see more of, however, and the one major area this show lacks as compared to the comic…action. ANYONE can talk shit over, but the bread and butter of the comic series were the insane battles similar to the opening scene and yea I think that’s something that needs to change. More action is needed, and I hope with Flute Cop’s newfound powers that happens.
