Review: American Dad ‘Crotchwalkers’

Steve runs a gardening club at school which will forever keep him a virgin and he takes it pretty seriously. Fran wants to be part of the fun, but no one wants her around cept Steve to make his sandwiches. Fran wants to spend more time with Steve, but not after Stan smashes his dick on a rake. At the garden store, Steve runs out of money so he decides to steal a tomato cage with his pals. This inspires the crew to take up shop lifting. Problem is they aren’t very good and the candy store catches them before they can do anything. Fran comes by to pick up Steve and apologize to the manager, but she takes him home and shows him her HUGE shoplifting stash. Turns out she’s been robbing people blind for years!

Fran wants to show Steve all the tricks in shoplifting. A montage ensues and Steve seems to be getting the hang of it all. Stan’s not crazy about his family shop lifting, but because of his voice no one can take him seriously. That said, Fran and Steven decide to hang up their shop lifting boots, but decide to have one last score. Steve gets caught by the store’s security and they send him to a sweatshop as punishment.

Fran runs home and grabs the tools she needs to spring Steve loose. And by tools, I mean her vagina because that’s where Steve goes when Fran breaks him out. She also has a grenade, so Fran’s able to get Steve out of the country. Unfortunately, Matilda stays behind.

Roger, Hayley, and Klaus start some sort band. Stan shows up with his injury and isn’t talking to anyone because the pitch in his voice is too high. That said, Stan makes a great critic for the balalaika band and an even better recipient for presents. Soon, his voice comes back to normal and the band smashes their instruments.

As you can tell I kinda didn’t care about the band plot as I thought it was the dumbest thing ever. Fran and Steve’s plot was a lot better and a lot more fun. I LOVE when Fran is the center of attention in episodes because I like when Wendy Schaal gets to show off her talent and talent she has. Fran is crass, sassy, and is the most unique lady on the Sunday Night lineup for FOX and her bringing the typically innocent Steve down her evil-brick road was the main highlight this week. Also, the end scene with Fran crotch walking her son is the grossest thing I’ve ever seen and maybe American Dad’s biggest laugh ever  and should be seen by all. It’s just too bad that we had a balalaika band sub plot.
