Comics Review: Regular Show #6
Spoilers!
The gang takes a trip to the beach, with Thomas in charge. While Pops, Hi-Five, and Thomas are trying to clean up, Park Ave shows up, and tags the grounds with graffiti. After the 3 get tagged themselves by Park Ave and his gang, Thomas realizes that critiquing his work is the only way to defeat Park Ave. He defeats Park Ave just in time for Benson and everyone to come back to a trashed park. Benson blows a gasket, and the rest have to help clean up.
A Prank Most Foul
Mordecai and Rigby are mowing the lawn, when Muscle Man offers Rigby a soda. It explodes in Rigby’s face, and he gets irate over it. Later, Rigby dyes himself to look like a skunk, and formulates an aerosol form of skunk funk just for the one shot at Muscle Man. Meanwhile, a real skunk robs a bank, and takes over for Rigby, who was narc’ed out. Rigby makes a daring escape. Animal control gets involved, and after a Fugitive reference, Rigby’s hair dye washes out. The skunk runs into the animal control guy, and begs to get taken away, but the animal control guy just ditches him at the park.
For more pages, there wasn’t a lot to the main story. I most definitely was not expecting a story that if you skimmed it, you’d be able to describe panel for panel what’s going on. The art was rather drab compared to Prank. I love the whacked out colors that the artists use as well, because it’s completely off the wall. This review is so short, because the main story has so little to offer. It’s too bad, because Prank was so good.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
