Review: Uncle Grandpa ‘Drivers Test’

Let’s see if THIS week’s episode passes the test! (drops mic)

UG shows up to a crashed wanna-be driver named Mary. Turns out she’s failed this test like 10 times, so Grandpa comes by to teach her how to drive…the Uncle Grandpa way! Problem is NOW she has to deal with this Crazy Baby whom is driving up and down the block. Eventually, Mary is asked to drive the UG fan into the water only to be eaten by a whale that shoots the van into space. It comes back down, but Grandpa and Mary grab the Flying Tiger and take off with the van chasing behind them NOW being driven by the Crazy Baby. The chase continues, but this time Mary and UG get back in their van and take it from the baby. Her last test is to parallel park which she does perfectly and thereby getting Mary her license. We also learn the baby was actually the tester’s kid. UG buys Mary a truck to celebrate.

Slice of Life with Pizza Steve

Pizza Steve is looking for Gus’ comb to fix his hair. Problem is, Gus doesn’t see any hair leading Steve to admit the comb was for Steve’s…hare. After a 5000 year long stare down, Gus apologizes.

I gotta tell ya, I wish there were some days in which Uncle Grandpa was related to me. Like who wouldn’t want a semi-truck after passing their drivers’ test? In any case, this week’s episode was probably one of the best ones of the season’s young career if for no other reason the crazy baby was the BEST. Driver’s test episodes have been done before, but UG does them like no other.
