REVIEW: AQUA TV SHOW SHOW ‘BANANA PLANET’
I like to eat, eat, eat…apples and bananaaaaas!
Spoilers Below
If you find animated monkeys jerking off to be hilarious, then this is the episode of Aqua for you. Unfortunately, it didn’t exactly hit my comedic sweet spot, but it definitely was impressive that the censors allowed such things to pass through (a few times). Have I caught you attention? Are you aroused? I sincerely hope you are not aroused. Like, sincerely.
In this episode of Aqua TV Show Show, formerly known as Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Frylock picks up on an ape-based distress call coming from a planet shaped like a giant banana. Deciding that the planet’s calls for help need immediate action, Frylock loads up himself, Meatwad, and Master Shake into a rocket that [hilariously] launches out from under Carl’s pool. Upon reaching the giant banana world, they are met by a clan of blue space apes who begin pelting them with their turds. After some back and forth (including multiple stints of monkey-sterbation) the Aqua teens eventually escape the hostile planet and head home, once again having done more harm than good to the subjects of their intended good will.
In the world of Aqua teen, this is actually a fairly common plot structure: discovery is made of a strange new group of creatures, Frylock leads his two cohorts into trying to help or investigate this new race, then the beings in question stir up trouble and eventually get themselves blown up or otherwise killed instead of being helped. Basically no good will come to whoever receives a visit from our Aqua Teen homeys, and it’s really only their fault about half the time – after all, it’s a crazy world outside of New Jersey.
There were a few small jokes here and there that I enjoyed in this episode, but for the most part the main bulk of the plot (being the monkey inhabited banana planet) really didn’t do anything for me. All in all, it didn’t shake my undying love for the show and I’m still looking forward to next week.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
