BREAKING NEWS: Jonah Hill, Seth Rogen, and Evan Goldberg are throwing a ‘SAUSAGE PARTY’!

Dear Jonah Hill,

I love you. I remember Seth Rogen being on the Howard Stern show and him reading that note about how you didn’t want to do comedy any more. For me, my heart was broken because I was a HUGE fan of your comedy work and to hear those words that you wanted to just do drama films had me somewhat depressed. Thankfully, it looks as though you were bluffing because here I get a new press release from Sony saying that you are working on a new animated comedy film with Seth Rogen and from the sounds of it, it will be AWESOME!/letter

The name of the film is called Sausage Party which is a story that was actually written by the very funny trio of Seth Rogen, Jonah Hill, and Evan Goldberg. The film will be distributed by Sony with an R-rating for a 2015 release and according to the press release it reads as:

The raunchy animated movie centers one sausage’s quest to discover the truth about his existence. After falling out of a shopping cart, the hero sausage and his new friends embark on a journey through the supermarket to get back to their aisles before the 4th of July sale. 

The guys aren’t getting any no-name to direct either, as they have tapped Conrad Vernon (Shrek 2) and Greg Tiernan.

For years we have been seeing animated comedies for kids and suffice it to say I think THAT industry is almost dry when it comes to ideas and there is no one better to bring something fresh to the table than Jonah, Seth, and Evan. This isn’t the only animated that the guys are getting into as Jonah Hill tried his hand at animated TV with Allen Gregory while Seth is getting ready to produce a new series for FX called Bigfoot.
