Review: Fish Hooks ‘Freshwater Five-O’
Spoilers Below
This cop is at the kids’ school arresting teachers and doing donuts with their car. His name is Dan Tuna and he offers to take two kids on a police ride along and as such Jocktopus and Milo get taken out of school for the rest of the day and go. Problem is Dan is kind of a douche and he makes the guys watch his car while he goes into the donut shop. However, when the kids are messing around, some dude comes by and steals Dan Tuna’s cop car. To try and redeem themselves, Milo and Jocktopus decide to try and find the car while Dan is in the coffee shop crying. To start they seek out Headphone Joe who seems to have a lead on a local car dealer. Milo and Jocktopus grab Bea and ask her to go undercover as a gangster, but the guys blow her cover thinking she was a real criminal. The car dealer calls security and now they gotta try something else. Eventually, they find the car thief and take him under arrest, but we find out it was just the donut shop valet doing his job.
The reason why I liked this week’s episode is less to do with the actual plot, but more to do with all of the characters that are seldom used that got decent face-time. Jocktopus usually gets relegated to cameos and we could’ve just as easily seen Oscar in there with Milo, but to pair up the shouting octo with the usually shouting Milo was a good mix. Also when was the last time we saw Headphone Joe? The ending was rather lousy, like I don’t know how many in this age group are going to understand the concept of a valet, but overall a solid episode of Fish Hooks.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
