Spoilers!

This episode of Axe Cop is brought to you by Independence Day, and picnics. Being such, Axe Cop tells us the story of his colonial ancestor, Book Cop. His family is taking care of him when the British breaks into his house, looking for the Secret Attack Almanac. His father uses Fire Secret Attack and pushes Book Cop down a secret doorway. A soldier makes his way back to the king, who kills him with acid sharks. After studying for hundreds of years, Book Cop acquired powers to fix his house and put food on his plate. Unfortunately, these powers can’t cure loneliness. So he finds a wife, by saving her from two soldiers. He knocks up his wife, just in time to get recruited by Fife Cop and Sockarang, Book Cop single-handedly kill the British invasion force. The first wave dies to get squashed underneath the Earth, and the second wave dies with a wave of sun fire that only kills the bad guys. He comes back home to see that the book was stolen by the King, and to get it back, he has to go to England. In what is the coolest power exhibited in this episode, he surfs the Atlantic on a book.  Book Cop uses a poison tidal wave to kill all of the soldiers in the castle, only leaving the king. He manages to kill the king with a book to the skull, then opening the book. Don’t ask, it’s just awesome. Axe Cop then explains that’s how he has all of his awesome powers, including the poison cake attack. Which kills all of the bad guys at his party.

This episode was bonkers. The story of Book Cop makes for an awesome addition to the lexicon here. The Secret Attack Almanac does a good job in explaining how Axe Cop got to be so good at his job. Game of Thrones fans will notice the Iron Throne in the King’s throne room. The highlights of the episode were the secret attacks. The best ones were Fire Secret Attack and the poison tidal wave as these were so outlandish, you couldn’t help but be amazed at its glory. This story needs to be expanded, either in another episode or in the comics. And can we please make that sooner rather than later?
